Apparently the new cool book-promoting move is to piece together a 'trailer' detailing (sometimes vaguely) the contents of your tornado of sin, i.e. where Dorothy ends up in this 70's porn parody (yes, SFW) for Chuck Palahnuik's new book, Snuff.The Chronicle has an in-depth review of the Black Angels new album, Directions to See a Ghost (the library in their South Austin pad has psychedelic classics like, 'Acid Trips and Chemistry and The College Drug Scene to the 13th Floor Elevators tome Eye Mind and A Sniper in the Tower: The Charles Whitman Murders.' OMGFR).
Filming has started on the Donnie Darko sequel.
The little website that could, That Other Paper, has some decent writers and creative weekly jests as of late, especially this bit, the Hipster Forecast. It smells a wee bit like a Misprint ripoff, but we'll let that pass for the LOL Conrad Keely comment.
